Over the last few months, I built a collection of tools to make it easy for sellers to collect payments using PayNow QR code. Specifically, i built a WooCommerce plugin, and an Android app.
Today, these tools have officially moved out of this blog and into their very own place: sgpaynowqr.com!
What started as a couple of helpful bits of code tucked away on my site has now grown up and got its own address on the internet.
At the same time, I also built a free online PayNow QR Code generator to accompany the WooCommerce plugin and Android app.
So now you will find these useful tools at sgpaynowqr.com:
- PayNow QR Code Generator online: For sellers who just need occasional PayNow QR codes. This tool lets you input your UEN or mobile number, the amount, and remarks and it will create a QR code ready to share. Completely free!
- PayNow QR Code Generator for WooCommerce: For those of you running online shops with WooCommerce, this tool lets you easily create QR codes that your customers can scan to pay you directly via PayNow (without commissions). No more fiddling about with bank transfers or complicated payment gateways for every single sale.
- PayNow QR Code Generator for Android: If you’re out and about doing your thing and need to receive payments on the fly, this Android app is your ideal tool. Just key in the amount, and it spits out a QR code that anyone with PayNow can scan to send you money. Perfect for market stalls, freelancers, or even just splitting the bill with mates.
Why did I bother doing this? Because, my SEO reports tell me that organic impressions have doubled in the last few months. Nothing crazy, but I believe there is lots more untapped potential in these keywords.

And, by moving them to a dedicated space, I’m pretty sure that I can capture more ranking, more quickly.
Having these tools on their own dedicated website is a much better setup since it improves the authority around a focused set of keywords. Unlike this personal blog, which is more like a general store with a bit of everything.
And that focus is a big deal for Google and other search engines. When people search for things like “generate PayNow QR code for WooCommerce” or “Android PayNow QR app,” Google is much more likely to show them a website that’s entirely about that topic.
I’m also inspired by sites like ilovepdf.com, which has quickly dominated all organic traffic for PDF tools. Could I do the same with PayNow QR codes? We shall see.
Go check it out, have a play, and let me know what you think. It’s all part of making things a bit easier for sellers wanting to get paid simply and efficiently.
Is there a tool you think I should add? Let me know!
